Crane Wheel Block System Manufacturer

The wheel block system, a rail-mounted crane component, comprises a set of wheels and a frame that supports the load during movement. The system is capable of handling loads up to 40 tons, with wheel diameters reaching up to 500 millimeters. Besides serving as crane accessories, the wheels also facilitate the movement of heavy objects.

Components of Wheel Block System

Housing: Crane wheel block system housing features high quality from modern in-house production, dimensional accuracy with a five-sided enclosure, graduated sizes for various wheel loads, and an optional buffer.

Wheel: Crane wheel block system, made of spheroidal graphite cast iron EN-GJS-700 (GGG 70), is flange-guided on both sides, ensures a quiet run with reduced runway wear, and is low-wear and heavy-duty due to self-lubrication, featuring a maintenance-free anti-friction bearing with lifetime lubrication.

Wheel range: Traveling wheel block system allows for easy inspection of flange wear and facilitates straightforward wheel replacement: simply remove the buffer flange, pull off the bearing and bearing flange, and then the wheel can be extracted from the front.

Guide rollers and derailment protection: traveling wheel blocks can be applied for extra wide rails, to reduce travelling resistance and skewing forces, to minimise cornering forces and runway wear

Drive: The wheel block system drive features pole-changing travel motors, low-maintenance direct drive with torque support for vertical or horizontal applications, options for single or centralized drive or no drive, optional frequency-controlled motors, and a space-saving angle drive.
